Juan Garnica has over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector. He joined the Hotels department at Savills in 2013 and leads Hotels, Leisure and Tourism team, based in Madrid overseeing the hotels business in the Mediterranean and LATAM. His responsibilities include the management of the Investment, Consultancy, Valuation and Asset Management teams in the region, as well as involvement in strategic transactions. 
Prior to Savills, he worked at Mercapital, a private equity, over 5 years. Juan was CFO of Occidental Hotels for 15 years. He leaded the development of Occidental Hotels with over 20 acquisitions transactions (including Allegro in 2000) and over 10 divestments.and he managed the Occidental acquisition Mercapital (1997-98) and sale to BBVA and Pontegadea (2007).
