Since 2007, Jesús Mateo has worked in the Valuations and Consultancy Divisions at Savills Spain and is involved in all levels of responsibility across the Company. Jesús is also a member of the RICS Committee in Spain, as well as of the European Valuation Committee (EVC) and Best Practice and Procedures Committee at Savills.

The Division boasts tested experience in IPOs and Alternative Stock Exchange (MAB) listings (Socimis), portfolio analysis for investment funds (NPLs/REOs) and in AVM, sales-purchase agreements including financing. The Division has also worked extensively with the main Spanish financial institutions (ECO) and insurance companies (DGS). Major deals in recent years include the IPOs of Merlin, Neinor Homes, Aedas Homes, Metrovacesa and Testa, as well as advising on the Santander Financial City deal for €1.9 billion in 2008. 

He is also a lecturer at the IE Business School.
